Registry?

Pip and I haven't thought much about whether and where we'll have a registry but we'll probably have at least one. If only so we don't run out of forks and spoons quite so quickly.

This bedding is cute... I should learn what a reasonable price for this stuff is, these ones from Porridge Home seem a little expensive... but then I bought my last duvet cover at the grocery store, so I'm no expert.

canned daisies

Okay, I'm really not trying to cheap out too much on this wedding, I just tend to like more rustic things which can be cheap. I also like lots of expensive things - just ask Pip!

But, these daisies set in a recycled aluminum can are clean and sweet.

oriana's dress

I think I am more excited about our flower girl's dress than my own.

Was just reading the purl bee and saw a post about the Nani Iro book I bought at Yuzawaya in Kamata, Tokyo.

Now I'm thinking this dress:

in one of these fabrics (probably the lady bugs):

new decor idea?

Via Design*Sponge, again.... a designer/bride-to-be Chase Simmering (great name!) is using antique cheese boxes filled, it looks like, with dried lavender and herbs. Very nice, very rustic.

Aparently Ms. Simmering got the boxes off e-bay for around 2 bucks but I just did a quick search and there are lots of them out there but the shipping would be very expensive. I will run the idea past my planner next week and then maybe scour local junk shoppes for them and the clear mason jars.

so what was I saying

... about getting so many ideas from Elizabeth Anne Designs? I saw these pics just now in my handy dandy feed reader:

Love the red gingham tablecloths, love the daisies, love the apples, love the lunch boxes. From Amorology Weddings, via EAD.

I'm going to White this Saturday to try on some dresses, and then again in a couple of weeks with my wedding planning buddy and former co-bridesmaid Diane, and should be in touch with invite, planner, and caterer (fingers crossed) soon, so there will be more posting on my own planning rather than just what I see in my feeds.

EAD Library

Yesterday evening I got an e-mail from Rebekah and Ami at Elizabeth Anne Designs, announcing the launch of their new library of links to designers, planners, photogs, etc. EAD's site is the source of many a post inspiration for me. The library loads quickly, looks clean, and is humongous.

People like Rebekah and Ami make my life so much easier.
