I was poking around online and found the above printable invitation from Crane's. We've already got invite plans, but this inspired me nonethetheless:
Clockwise from top left, sandals from Moschino, Paul Smith, and Belle by Sigerson Morrison.

I think the giant lollipops would fall under pip's idea of crazy, an although they look awesome, who really likes them? If I had a choice between cupcake and lollipop I would choose cupcake... unless I was on a diet, I guess. Macarons are nummy, but expensive.

...but I will stick to the little plastic boats for now.

This post from the Bride's guide shows another example of the colours I'm diggin'. For the paint chips, make the red a bit more red, and replace the bright yellow with a moss green and there you go.

I just nabbed 24 of these cute little boats to put on top of cupcakes or whatever kind of dessert we're gonna have. From abelemporium - they have so many awesome do-dads for cakes and things.
The image on the left - I like the fern tied to the napkin. I think I'd like our cutlery rolled into the napkin too, though, since we're all casual like that
These are super cute and go with the earth/people friendly strategy I hope to take. This and the last post are via the Bride's Guide.
